Adam Michael Gritzer, age 30, Danville, lost his long battle to addiction on August 30, 2017 at his home.
Born at the Lewisburg Hospital on June 30, 1987, he was the son of George A. Gritzer, and Beth A. (Wirick) Gritzer.
Adam was a 2006 graduate of Lewisburg Area High School. He enjoyed non-traditional sports while in middle and high school, including roller blading, snowboarding, lacrosse, ice hockey and 4-wheeling.

Surviving are his father, George A. Gritzer, and his partner Amy Ward, Lewisburg; his mother, Beth A. Gritzer, and her partner Rick Gearhart, Danville; his brother, Andrew G. Gritzer, wife Kaleena and their son, Luca, Lewisburg; maternal grandparents, Leroy and Clara Wirick, Orange City, Florida; paternal grandmother, Margaret Gritzer, Latrobe; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins who always loved getting together for the entertainment Adam provided.
A celebration of Adam’s life will be held on Friday, September 8, from 6-8 p.m. at the Lewisburg Hotel, Second and Market Streets, Lewisburg.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Road, Danville.
