Allen W. Peters

Allen W. Peters, age 71, of Wall Street, Nescopeck, passed away early Saturday morning March 25, 2023 at his home after an illness.

Born on March 29, 1952 in Nanticoke, he was the son of the late Walter and Alice (Richards) Peters. He resided in Nescopeck for 20 years and formerly resided in Berwick and Millville.

Allen was a truck driver who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting pool in his free time. He was a member of the Slavonic Club in Berwick.

Surviving is his son, Alan J. Peters, and his wife Loretta, of Millville, his daughter, Stacy L. Peters, and her partner, Patrick Swaney, of Winston-Salem, NC; four grandchildren: Kayla Summers, and her husband Eric, Mason Peters, and his wife Lynn, Sehr Spence, and Hank Swaney; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gary Peters, and his wife Jeanne, of Shavertown.

At Allen’s request, there will be no services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
