Andrew E. Brown, age 37, of Grandview Place, South Williamsport, and formerly of Manhiem and Bloomsburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born on November 14, 1986 in Mahoning Township, Montour County, he was the son of Eugene K. Brown, and his wife Linda Brown, of Bloomsburg, and Brenda (Musselman) Jones, of Sunbury. Andrew was a 2004 graduate of Lancaster High School.
He worked at Stellant Systems in Williamsport.
Andrew’s life was a musical journey. He was a self-taught musician with a gift of guitar playing and songwriting. He had an amazing ear for hearing a beat and recreating the sound. He had a knack of buying vintage instruments and restoring them back to working condition. Andy’s legacy will live on through the beat of a drum or the strum of a guitar string.
In addition to his musical talents, he also loved his two kitties, Scout, and Stormie, who will dearly miss their human.
Andrew was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Leroy Musselman, on October 22, 2009, and paternal grandparents, Kenneth Brown, on December 13, 2020 and Joann Brown, on December 12, 2021.
Surviving in addition to his parents is his sister, Melissa, wife of Roy Ruckle, III, of Orangeville; three stepsiblings, Joseph Burkland, of Berwick, Brian Burkland, and his wife Nancy, of Nanticoke, and Dawn, wife of James Dalton, of Middletown; maternal grandmother, Nancy Musselman, of Benton; paternal grandfather, Lester Lutz, of Berwick; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
There will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
