Anna Mae Cunningham, age 81, of 407 E. Ninth Street, Bloomsburg, died Wednesday morning, Nov. 20, 2019, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where she was admitted Tuesday evening.
Born in Bloomsburg on Sept. 16, 1938 she was daughter of the late Harold Steinruck and Kathryn (Brooking) Steinruck Bogart. Her step father was the late Zender Bogart. She was a lifelong resident of Bloomsburg and a 1956 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.
Anna Mae was employed by the former Maple Crest Nursing Home in Bloomsburg, for a number of years earlier in her life. Most of her life she was a homemaker and caregiver for her son Scott.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Paul E. Cunningham, on Monday, Nov. 18, 2019.
Anna Mae is survived by three children: Theodore E. Cunningham, and his wife Karen, Bloomsburg; Kerry L. Bozung, and her companion, Thomas T. Fawess, Milton; Scott E. Cunningham, at home; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters: Betty Lowman, Orangeville; Jean, wife of Gary Swisher, Bloomsburg; Ruth Thomas, Bloomsburg; a brother, Paul Z. Bogart, and his wife Nancy, Benton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Please omit flowers.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
