Annabelle L. (DeWald) Erlston, age 90, of Catawissa, passed away on Monday April 21, 2025 at the Nursing and Rehabilitation at the Mansion in Sunbury.
Born on January 6, 1935 in Bloomsburg, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Grace (Poust) DeWald. Annabelle was a 1953 graduate of Danville High School.
She was last employed by the former Hanover Foods in Bloomsburg for 10 years. Prior to that, she was employed by Milco Inc. in Bloomsburg.
Annabelle attended the former Nazarene Church in Bloomsburg. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing. She especially loved family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her six children: Connie, wife of Ken Hunter, of Turbotville, Carol Tanner, of Danville, Paula, wife of James Fry, of Catawissa, Laura, wife of Mark Breisch, of Bloomsburg, Paul Erlston, and his wife Tracey, of Catawissa, and Bradley Erlston, of Millville; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Nancy Kreamer, of Millville and Peggy Fryling, of Danville.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 26, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Rd., Danville, with UPMC Hospice Chaplain Thomas Brokaw, officiating. The family will greet friends from 12-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
