Audrey Elaine (Cox) Yeager, age 81, of Catawissa passed away on Saturday February 19, 2022 at The Gardens at Orangeville, where she had been a resident since December.

Born in Bloomsburg on April 28, 1940, she was blessed to be the only child of the late Melvin and Gertrude (Baker) Cox.

Audrey attended the Montgomery, Millville, and Central Columbia schools, from which she graduated in 1959. She held her school friends dear and enjoyed many reunions and luncheons with her classmates.

She was employed by the R.R. Donnelly Printing (formerly Bloomsburg Craftsman) retiring after 26 years of employment. She was an avid traveler and camper, belonging to the Berwick Trailblazers Camping Club. She was also a member of the Middlecreek Valley Antique Association.

Audrey enjoyed going to yard sales, baking any recipe Gerald could pull off the internet and baking the best raisin filled cookies known to man. She enjoyed tending to her huge flower collection, her small flock of chickens, her fish pond and feeding the birds around her country home. She was also a proficient wine maker.

She was a member of the Kulp United Methodist Church, Catawissa, where she was active in the Ladies Group and assisting with the yearly strawberry shortcake festival and chicken and waffle dinner.

Audrey is survived by her husband Gerald W. Yeager whom she married on June 25, 1960 and celebrated 61 years of marriage to her best friend and partner in life. She is also survived by a son Daniel Yeager and wife Amy of Catawissa, a daughter Linda wife of Donald Karchner of Hetlerville. She was the proud grandmother of six: Joshua Yeager and his companion Tabitha Yost, Jason Yeager and his wife Ashley, Jessica wife of Thomas Condron, Logan Karchner and his fiancé Ashley Hock, Laura Karchner and Levi Karchner. She is also survived by four great-granddaughters: Olivia Condron, Kira Karchner, Lydia Condron and Clara Yeager. She will be missed by Midge, her Yorkshire terrier, who was her constant companion. She will also be remembered by her extended group of siblings in the Baker family.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Kulp United Methodist Church: 1395 Old Reading Road, Catawissa with her pastor, Pastor Adam Miller, officiating on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 2:00 pm. With a visitation starting at 1:00 pm. Internment will be made at the convenience of the family at Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg. Flowers will be provided by the family. Memorial contributions may be sent in Audrey’s memory to The Salvation Army at 345 Market Street, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
