Barbara M. (Bason) Davis

Barbara M. (Bason) Davis, age 80, of 2700 Lackawanna Ave., Bloomsburg, died peacefully on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at the Geisinger-Bloomsburg Hospital where she was a patient for nine days.

Born in Bloomsburg on October 15, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Ann (Diehl) Bason. She was a lifelong resident of the Bloomsburg area.

Barbara was employed by the former Bloomsburg Mills, Inc., for many years.

She was an animal lover and her favorite activity was crocheting. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her daughters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Davis on June 22, 1986 and by a daughter, Vickie Lee Young, on September 10, 2014.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Valerie, wife of Harry Fullmer, of Glen Lyon and a sister Carole, wife of Phillip Vial, of Bloomsburg.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.

There will be no viewing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
