Barbara A. Hardy

Barbara A. (Beckey) Hardy, age 79,  of 1 W. Overlook St., Orangeville (Stony Brook Circle) died at  5:25 p. m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where she was a patient.

Born in West Reading, Berks County on Nov. 18, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Robert W. and Mildred V. (Shakespeare) Beckey. She was a 1958 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School in Shillington and also a graduate of the Reading Hospital School of Practical Nursing.

Barbara lived in Stony Brook Circle for the past nine years and previously lived in Coral Springs, Fla.  and Atlanta, Ga. prior to that.

She was last employed as a sales associate at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Buckhorn and had earlier been employed in medical records in Boca Raton, Fla. and as a real estate agent in Atlanta, Ga.

Barbara was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Bloomsburg. Her hobby was playing computer games of all types.

Surviving are a son, Eric Eberly, Loganville, Ga.; a daughter, Allison L. Eberly, Tucker, Ga.;   three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a sister, Deborah J., wife of Richard Anderson, Bloomsburg; a brother, Robert R. Beckey, and his wife Wendy, Leesport; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
