Barbara D. Hendricks

Barbara D. (Matthews) Hendricks, age 68, of 442 E. Third Street, Bloomsburg, died Friday, May 21, 2021, while a patient at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Bloomsburg on September 26, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Reifendifer) Matthews. She was a lifelong resident of the Bloomsburg area.

Barbara was employed at the Merck Co. Cherokee plant in Riverside for over 20 years.

She enjoyed watching television, especially cartoons and old black and white movies and assembling puzzles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, James Stevens, II and Isaiah Stevens and a brother William Matthews.

Barbara is survived by a son Robert P. Hendricks, Berwick and a daughter, Rhonda, wife of Richard H. Vought, Bloomsburg and four grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family.

At Barbara’s request, there will be no funeral services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
