BARBARA L. TAYLOR


     Barbara L. Taylor, age 84, formerly of 2700 Lackawanna Ave., Bloomsburg died at 9:06 p.m. Saturday June 30, 2012 at Bloomsburg Health Care Center where she has resided for the past three years.
     Born in Williamsport on April 16, 1928 she was the daughter of the late John R. and Edna D. (Hartzell) Fisher. She lived in Bloomsburg area most of her life and graduated from Bloomsburg High School in 1946.
     Barbara loved to knit, garden and travel and especially loved taking care of her children and grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by her husband Charles L. Taylor on December 21, 1997, by a daughter Tammi L. Beck on March 25, 2006 and by a grandson Michael Beck in 1996.
     Surviving are one son; John R. Shultz, and his wife Deborah J., Bloomsburg, four stepchildren David Taylor, Colorado Springs, CO; Elaine wife of Delos Howell, Bloomsburg; Joyce wife of Dale Wolfe, Catawissa; Terry Taylor, Shamokin; 2 grandchildren; Wade Shultz and his wife Jennifer, Mainville; Chad Shultz, Bloomsburg and three great grandchildren; Chloe Shultz, Dakota Shultz, Jade Shultz and a brother James W. Fisher, Bloomsburg.
     Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with the Rev. Allen F. Acor, past of Mooresburg-Hendrickson United Methodist Churches, officiating. Interment will be in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.
