Barbara J. (Todd) Yuhas

Barbara J. (Todd) Yuhas, age 79. Of Walnut Street, Bloomsburg (Fernville) died Saturday, September 9, 2023 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born in Dover, New Jersey on April 29, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Alfred E. and Carroll I. (Lawrence) Todd. She was a 1962 graduate of Dover High School and resided in Bloomsburg since 1962.

Barbara was last employed at the Former Bloomsburg Mills, Inc., working there for eight and a half years, retiring in 2005. Earlier she was employed at the former Mar Craft for five years.

She attended Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William H. Yuhas, Jr. on July 21, 2012; by two sons: Christopher M. Yuhas on January 27, 2000 and Robert H. Yuhas on November 30, 2015 and two sisters: Shirley Funk and Deborah River.

Surviving is a daughter, Barbara wife of Gordon S. Gottshall of Bloomsburg, a son, William J. Yuhas and his wife Nanette of Bloomsburg; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Janet wife of Richard Ford, Richmond, Virginia; a brother Gary River, New Jersey and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at 3 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg, with Rev. John D. Kolenda, pastor of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p. m.
