Barry J. Bardo, age 46, 21 Pear Alley, Washingtonville, died unexpectedly at his home and was pronounced dead at 1:18 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2013.
Born in Bloomsburg on August 11, 1966, he was a son of the late Perry L. and Betty (Grenevich) Bardo. He had resided in Washingtonville for the last 20 years.
Barry worked for Great Dane Trailer Co., Danville.
He was a member of the Washington "Washies" Fire Co. and the Continental Fire Co., both of Danville; and the Washingtonville Fire Co.
Surviving Barry is his companion of 18 years, Kathy Sherwood; son, Brandon J. Bardo, and his companion Jessica Kirchman, Danville; granddaughter, Serenity May Bardo; step-children: Ashley Sherwood and Curtis Sherwood, at home and Amber Sherwood, Washingtonville; step-granddaughter, Anna Price; brothers: Dennis Grenevich, Benton; Wayne Bardo, Berwick; Charles "Chuck" Hamilton, Benton and Kevin Hamilton, wife Isabella, Bloomsburg and step-father, Charles Hamilton, Muncy.
Memorial Services will be heldat 1 p.m. Saturday, July 27 in the Washingtonville Fire Company.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1715 Bloom Road, Danville.
