Bernadette H. "Beth" Twardzik, age 90, of 1529 Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg, died at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at her home.
Born on Aug. 25, 1919, in Shenandoah, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Helen (Yankofsky) Creedon. She resided in Bloomsburg since 1993, and formerly lived in Barnesville, Schuylkill County.
Beth was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church, Bloomsburg.
Her greatest achievement in life was her family.
Beth is survived by her loving and devoted husband and best friend, W. Frank Twardzik, with whom she would have celebrated her 69th wedding anniversary on Aug. 15, 2010; three children: Dr. and Mrs. Daniel R. Twardzik, Seattle, Wash.; Dr. Frank G. Twardzik and his wife, Attorney Barbara Twardzik, Glenwood, Md.; Diane A., wife of Robert B. Littlewood, Bloomsburg; a daughter-in-law, Ann McDonald, Girardville; five grandchildren, including Jonathan R. Littlewood and his wife, Carrie, Bloomsburg; and three great-grandsons.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 1 p.m. in St. Columba Catholic Church, 342 Iron St., Bloomsburg, by the Rev. Joseph H. Fennessy. Interment in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.
Friends may call Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Dean W. Kriner, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
