BETTY E. EVELAND

Betty E. Eveland, age 65, 4037 Smith Street, Bloomsburg, died at her home early on Monday, May 3, 2010 and was found in the afternoon.

Born in Bloomsburg on May 18, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Alfred I. and Martha (Fisher) Barnes. She spent her entire lifetime in the Bloomsburg area and was a 1962 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.

Betty was employed by the Windsor Quality Food Co., Bloomsburg for the past 16 years and also worked in the same plant for several of it's predessor companies.

She was an avid bingo player.

Betty was preceded in death by two brothers: Carvel Barnes and John Barnes.

Surviving five siblings: Andrew Barnes, and his wife Geneva, Espy; Morris Thomas "Shorty" Barnes, Shickshinny; Laura, wife of Ronald Moore; William A. Barnes, and his wife Linda; David M. Barnes, and his wife Deborah, all of Bloomsburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.

At the the request of the deceased, there will be no funeral services or viewing.

The arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
