BETTY J. KISSINGER
Betty J. Kissinger, age 85, 90 West Pebble Lane, Orangeville (Stoney Brook Circle) died at 5:40 p. m. Friday, October 22, 2010, at the Bloomsburg Health Care Center where she was a patient for one month
Born in Mifflinville on March 30, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Mary (Glodfelter) Wolfe. She resided in Stoney Brook Circle since 1983 and formerly lived in Bloomsburg.
Betty was employed as a waitress at the former Hotel Magee in Bloomsburg for eight years and also had worked at the former Ent's Restaurant, Bloomsburg.
She was a faithful member of the Lightstreet United Methodist Church.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Russell Kissinger, by her only daughter, Aleta Mae Cavanagh in 2005; by two sisters and a brother.
Surviving are two grandchildren: Michael Perkoski, and his wife Tara, Honey Grove and Denise Laubengeyer, Martinsville, IN; five great-grandchildren: Robert Hons, Douglas Hons, Michael Perkoski, Jr., Christopher Perkoski, Austin Moore; a great-great grandson, Hadeyn Michael Hosler; and a brother, John Wolfe, Northridge, Calif.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a. m. in the Lightstreet United Methodist Church, 1640 Main Street, Lightstreet, with her pastor, Rev. Jennifer Parks-Snyder officiating. Interment in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. Friends may call at the Church from 9-10 a. m.
