Beverly D. (Montes) McDonald

Beverly D. (Montes) McDonald, age 62, of W. Main Street, Bloomsburg died unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, July 11, 2024 of natural causes.

Born in the Bronx, New York on February 14, 1962, she was a daughter of Lydia (Martinez) Montes of Berwick and the late Rafael A. Montes. She resided in Bloomsburg for the past 18 years.

Beverly was a homemaker and loved to cook, to listen to and dance to music. Beverly never let her disabilities deine her and dreamed of being a writer even in her later years. She died with her pet cat, Nigh-Nigh, who was her best friend.

Surviving in addition to her mother are six children: Peter McDonald of Allentown; Alyssa McDonald of Rockland County, New York; Aileen McDonald of Wilkes-Barre; Arielle McDonald-Bauer of New Jersey; Annabella, wife of Jordan Bonacci of Blakely; Nicolas Montes of Wilkes-Barre; six grandchildren including: Alayna Rittenhouse, Jayden Bonacci, Aniyah Vital, Andre Reyes; two brothers: Clifford Montes of West Nyack, New York and Ralph Montes of New Jersey. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

There will be no funeral services.
