Brandon Robert Kocher

Brandon Robert Kocher, age 17, of Ribble Lane, Stillwater, passed away on Wednesday December 6, 2023 after an automobile accident in Fishingcreek Township.

Born on January 13, 2006 in Mahoning Township., Montour County, he was the son of Amber Kocher-Stackhouse and Matthew Stackhouse. He was a senior at Columbia-Montour Area Vocational Technical School.

Brandon was accepted at Bloomsburg University as a student in the Biomedical Physical Therapist program for 2024.

He was employed by Kocher Masonry as a co-op student.

Brandon played on the Vo-Tech Boys Baseball and Basketball teams. He played all positions on the baseball team and he never missed a 3-point shot on the basketball team.

Brandon was known for his echo laughter and making people laugh. He was always the life of the party and loved to dance. He loved life and was surrounded by many friends all the time.

He attended Patterson Grove Church camp for summer camp.

Brandon was close to his grandfather, Robert Kocher, who preceded him in death on August 15, 2023.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Glenn Stackhouse, of Bloomsburg, and Gabriel Stackhouse, at home; maternal grandmother, Darla Kocher, of Benton; paternal grandmother, Alicia Stackhouse, of Millville; and an uncle, Aaron Kocher, and his wife Vanessa, of Orangeville.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday December 10, 2023 at 3 p.m. in the gym of Columbia-Montour Area Vocational Technical School, 5050 Sweppenheiser Drive, Bloomsburg, with Rev. Tyler Rauhauser, of Town Hill Methodist Church, officiating. Friends may call between 1-3 p.m. at the school.
