Carl S. Holt, Jr.

On Friday, December 3, 2021, Carl S. Holt, Jr., loving father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, went home to the Lord at Geisinger Medical Center. He was 66 years old.

Carl was born on November 3, 1955 in Frederick, MD. He was raised and went to school in Littlestown PA.

Carl was a special and loving soul with a playful and fun spirit. He held many different jobs over the years to help support his family. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and meeting his great-grandchildren. His hobbies included collecting records, CDs, listening to music, and karaoke.

Carl is preceded in death by his mother, Delores Elizabeth (Rippeon) Holt, and father, Carl S. Holt, Sr. He is survived by three children: Rose L. Monn, of Hagerstown, MD, Carl D. Holt, of Chambersburg, Tamra E. Holt, of Jersey Shore, and son-in-law, Steve R. Monn, and two brothers and two sisters, Larry and Betty Holt, of McSherrystown, Harold and Joyce Holt, of Hanover, Diane Hubbard, of Gettysburg, and Carolyn Keefer, of Littlestown.

Carl is also survived by three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, friends, family, girlfriend, and an ex-wife whom he was married for 30 years and close friend, Maureen Holt.
