Carl E. Parks, Jr., aged 56, of 17-A Robbins Road, Bloomsburg died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday morning, November 12, 2022.
Born at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville on September 30, 1966, he was the son of Carl E. Parks, Sr. and the late Gertrude Louise (Spickard) Parks. He was a lifelong resident of the Bloomsburg area and a 1984 graduate of the Columbia Montour Vocational Technical School where he majored in the electrical program.
Carl was employed by Dillon Floral, Corp. Bloomsburg for over 20 years as an electrician.
His hobby was collecting model trains. He also loved to travel.
Surviving is his father with whom he resided, two sisters; Gertrude Ann “Trudy” Parks, who also lived at home and Crystal, wife of Allen Yoder, Jr., Nescopeck; two nephews: Mason Yoder, Nescopeck and James Yoder of Orangeville; and an aunt Beth Miller Parks of Berwick.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Christopher Stabler; two aunts: Mabel Hess and Ruth Spickard and two uncles: George Parks and Richard Parks.
There will be no funeral services or viewing.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
