Catherine E. Henninger

Catherine E. Henninger, age 82, of South Street, Catawissa, passed away Saturday night March 23, 2024 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born in Shamokin Twp., Northumberland Co., on January 4, 1942, she was the daughter of Joseph and Eleanor (Swank) Malloy.

Catherine resided in Snydertown for most of her life and was a Postmaster for the Snydertown Post Office for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey L. Henninger, who died on March 20, 2007, and by a brother, Joseph Malloy in 2022.

Surviving are her two children, Harvey L. Henninger, II, and Valerie M. Dressler, both of Catawissa; four grandchildren, Jared, Jacob, Alexis, and KaseLynn; three great grandchildren, Oliver, Karmyn, and Breu; and a sister, Mary Josephine Hull, of Paxinos.

At Catherine’s request, there will be no services. Private interment will be made in Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Rd., Danville.
