CATHERINE H. HOLSHUE
Catherine H. Holshue, age 91, 310 E. Center St., Danville, died at 11:54 p. m. Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011 at the Grandview Health Homes, Danville, where she was a patient for nine days. She was in failing health for two months.
She was born in Mt. Carmel on April 3, 1919 and lived in Danville for 29 years and in Hazleton prior to that.
Catherine was a graduate of the fomer Kulpmont High School.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Danville.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Donald T. Holshue on May 18, 1982.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Holshue, wife of David Farrell, Bloomsburg and a granddaughter, Kathy Farrell, Pittsburgh.
Private funeral services will be held on Tuesday from the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, followed by interment in St. Gabriel's Catholic Cemetery, Hazleton. There will be no calling hours.
