Christian H. Gerneth

Christian H. Gerneth, age 40, of Pineyville Road, Ringtown died at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 after an illness.

Born in Forcheim, Germany on November 1, 1982, he was the son of Cornelia “Connie” (Lindenberger) Black of Girardville and the late Michael Gerneth.

Christian was employed as a truck driver most of his working life. He enjoyed gardening and drawing. He was a good uncle and brother. His dog was a pitbull named Sam.

Surviving in addition to his mother is a son, Christian H. Gerneth, Jr., of Selinsgrove area; a sister, Andrea Gerneth in Germany; two brothers: Stefan Gerneth and his wife Amy of Ringtown and Kevin Black and his wife Victoria of Pottsville and 11 nieces and three nephews.

He will be missed by his family and friends including his lifelong best friend, Debbie Golden of Pottsville.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
