Clarence Roy Brassington, age 71, of Bloomsburg died Friday at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Allentown.
Born in Catawissa on November 11, 1950, he was a son of the late Robert Brassington and Charlotte (Kresicher) Brassington Howard. He resided in Bloomsburg most of his life and was a 1968 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.
He was employed by Wise Foods, Corp., Berwick for 32 years, retiring in 2012 due to health issues.
His hobbies were hunting and fishing and especially feeding the squirrels in Bloomsburg Town Park.
Surviving are four children, Megan M. Smedley, Jonathan Roy Brassington, Clarence Roy Brassington, Jr and Jane Marie, wife of John Colon, all of Bloomsburg; four grandchildren, a brother, Charles R. Brassington and his wife Chrissy, Bloomsburg and a sister, Lila D. Welliver, Danville.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 2 p. m. in New Rosemont Cemetery, Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg, with Rev. Gordon E. Smith, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, Espy, officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
