CONNIE  L.  CRAWFORD

Connie L. Crawford, age 76, 3875 Smith St., Bloomsburg, died unexpectedly  at her home early Tuesday morning, Jan. 3, 2012 and was pronounced dead at 7:10 a. m.

Born in Berwick on April 14, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Dolly Jane (Holder) Badolato. She resided in the Bloomsburg area most of her lifetime.

Connie was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved her dog, Hailey.  She was a social member of the Columbia Valley Moose Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. "Johnny" Crawford, Sr., on Nov. 18, 2001.

She is survived by five children: Kay, wife of Randall J. Lawton, Mifflinville; Linda, wife of Carl Barratt, Bloomsburg; Joni, wife of Charles Anderson, Berwick; John R. Crawford, Jr., Buckhorn;  Melissa L. "Missy" Crawford, and her husband Kevin Meek, Millville; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Jane Mosberg, New Port Richey, Fla.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with the Rev. Ralph B. Hartenbach, pastor of the Bower Memorial United Methodist Church, Berwick officiating. Interment in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 p. m.
