CONNIE  D.  NUGENT

Connie D. Nugent, age 63, 810 Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg, died at 3:20 p. m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at the Geinger Medical Center, Danville, where she was a patient for 10 days.

Born in Bloomsburg on Jan. 18, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Lester L. Raup and Elsie I. (Hendricks) Mowery. Most of her life was spent in the Bloomsburg area. She was a 1966 graduate of Southern Columbia High School.

Connie was employed as a transcriptionist by Geisinger Medical Center, working from her home. She also worked part-time for Dr. Timothy Eckel of Danville. Earlier she was employed by the Bloomsburg Hospital for over 20 years.

Connie is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Irene Neuhard, Melbourne, Fla; a son, Jeremiah David Neuhard, and his wife Jennifer, Danville; a granddaughter, Kyra Scarlett Neuhard, Danville; a brother, Nevin Raup, and his wife Nancy, Elysburg and a sister, Gail, wife of Earl Wagner, Danville.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p. m., in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with the Rev. Robert J. Eddinger, pastor of Ridge Street United Methodist Church officiating. Interment in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Locust Township.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p. m.
