Constance M. Nelson

Constance M. “Connie” Nelson, age 73, formerly of Berlin Trailer Park, Everett St., Benton, died at 6:45 p. m. Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the Berwick Hospital Center where she was admitted Tuesday. She previously was a guest at the Orangeville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center since  June, 2008.

Born on August 21, 1938 in Emmaus, Lehigh County, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Elizabeth (Silnik) Nelson.

Connie loved her animals, reading, cooking and baking.

Earlier in life she was employed as a private caregiver and dialysis technician.

Connie was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church, Benton.

A son, Gregory Nelson, preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Jane Kapustic, Wescoesville; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carole Dane, Sullivan, Maine.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a. m. in Christ The King Catholic Church, Mendenhall Lane, Benton, by her pastor, Rev. Timothy D. Marcoe. Interment in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Sugarloaf Township. Friends may call at the Church from 9: 30 to 10 a. m..
