Coty Joe Cool, age 36, of Buckhorn and formerly Catawissa, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
Born on April 25, 1988, in Danville, he was the son of Pamela S. (Artley) Hays and the late Dennis R. Cool.
He was a 2007 graduate of Southern Columbia High School.
Coty was currently employed at Autoneum as a machine operator for the past 11 years and had previously worked at Ultra Poly and RR Donnelley, where he met his wife, Jennifer.
His hobbies and likes included riding motorcycles, Joe Cool aka “Snoopy”, Dr. Pepper, video games, and anime. Coty especially loved spending time with his family, vacationing in Canada, and the pursuit of a challenging game of cards. He loved helping his friends and family. He was kindhearted and hard-working.
In addition to his mother Pamela S. Hays, and her husband Daniel, of Catawissa, Coty is survived by, his loving wife, Jennifer L. (Conrad) Cool, with whom he celebrated 14 years of marriage on July 9; two children, Aaron E. Young and Emma G. Cool, at home; two sisters, Briann Lynn-Peters and Amanda Lynn, of Bloomsburg; maternal grandfather, Hoover Artley, and many extended loving family members.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm, with a service to follow, all at the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg. Rev. Gordon E. Smith of, St. John Lutheran Church, in Espy, will officiate. Burial is private and at the convenience of the family.
