Cortney Nicole Hurry

Cortney Nicole Hurry, age 21 of Fifth Street, Berwick died Friday morning, Feb. 14, 2025 in an accident on I-80 in Montour County.

Born at Evangelical Hospital in Lewisburg on January 23, 2004, she was the daughter of Frank E. Hort, Jr and Lucinda L. (Hurry) Ludwig. She resided in Lewisburg prior to moving to Berwick in 2024. She was a 2022 graduate of Glen Allen High School in Glen Allen, Virginia.

Cortney was employed as the To Go manager at the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant in Selinsgrove.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her dog Nala Bear. She was an avid deer hunter.

Cortney is survived by her mother, Lucinda L. Ludwig of Berwick; her father Frank E. Hort, Jr. and his wife Monica of Northumberland; step-father, Shawn Miller of Polk City, Florida, seven siblings: Hailey Miller and Owen Ludwig of Berwick, Dalton Hort, McKenzie Hort Greyson Hort and Jaxon Hort all of Northumberland, and Megan Miller of Lewisburg; maternal grandparents: Lucinda and Bruce Shallenberger of Lewisburg, Donald and Kelly Hurry of Syracuse, New York, and Kenneth Miller of Mifflinburg; paternal grandparents Frank and Gail Hort, Sr. of Milton, John and Pamela Gass of Northumberland. She also has numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
