Daniel T. Bardo, age 71, Bloomsburg, died at 8:30 p. m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the Geisnger Bloomsburg Health Care Center where he resided since August 24, 2015.
Born in Bloomsburg on Sept. 13, 1945, he was a son of the late Myron P. and Grace E. (Steinruck) Bardo. He spent his lifetime in the Bloomsburg area.
Daniel last worked at the former S & H Green Stamp Store on Market Street, Bloomsburg and previously was a construction worker for many years.
He served with the United States Army briefly during the 1960’s.
Daniel was a baptized member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Bloomsburg. He enjoyed baseball and was an avid Phillies fan. He loved his dog Pugs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Andy.
Surviving are two daughters: Lezlie Hawk, Catawissa and Brenda Earnest, Bloomsburg; two sons: Aaron C. Bardo, and his wife Angie, Danville and Jason Bardo, and his wife Michaelene, St. Joseph, Missouri; 13 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at 11 a. m. in Elan Memorial Park, 5595 Old Berwick Rd., Bloomsburg, with pastor Mike Spangnoula, of the Catawissa Christian Church officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
