Darla G. Pierce, age 59, of 176 Rolling Hill Drive, Berwick, died at her home on Monday, January 25, 2016. She was in failing health since July 2015.
Born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan on September 19, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Donald R. and Gertrude H. (Miller) Pierce. She resided in the Berwick area since 2001, and formerly lived in Warren, Michigan.
Darla was preceded in death by a sister, Donna.
Surviving is a sister, Diana Kelm, of Haines, Alaska; and her friend and caregiver Maxine Kennedy, with whom she resided.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the S.K. Schultz Funeral Home, 43300 Garfield Road, Clinton Township, Michigan, with Rev. John Kennedy officiating. Interment in Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township, Michigan. Viewing at the S.K. Schultz Funeral Home on Monday from 10-11 a.m.
