David G. Daubert, Sr., age 79, of 733 First St., Nescopeck, died in a house fire on Friday August 5, 2022.
Born on January 22, 1943 in White Haven, he was the son of the late Henry and Frances (Lupho) Daubert. He was a 1961 graduate of Freeland High School.
David served in the U.S. Military during the Vietnam War.
He was last employed by Diehl’s Tree Service and previously worked at the McAdoo Power Plant.
David enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
His son, Brian Daubert, and three great-grandchildren, all died in the house fire on August 5, 2022. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Geraldine Smith in 2010; three grandchildren; and three brothers: Michael Daubert, Gabriel Daubert, and Francis Daubert.
Surviving are five children: Violet Kessler, and her companion Richard Snyder, of Berwick, David G. Daubert, Jr., of Nescopeck, James Daubert, and his wife Lisa, Steven Daubert, and his wife Marilyn, Rebecca, wife of Harold Baker, all of Berwick; a stepdaughter: Melissa Sebastian and her boyfriend, Dan Burnhon, of Hershey; a stepson: Franklin Hons, of Scranton; 39 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Violet Hawk, of the Poconos, Sherry Wensko, wife of Steven, of St. John, and Vicky Mitchell, of Hazleton.
Memorial services will be announced in the future.
