David T. Rainier

David T. Rainier, age 76, 522 Montour Blvd., Bloomsburg, died unexpectedly at his home at 3:20 a. m. Monday, June 13, 2016.

Born in Bloomsburg on August 28, 19398, he was a son of the late Frank G. and Florence A. (Lupole) Rainier. He spent his entire life in the Bloomsburg area.

Dave was last employed at Bloomsburg University and previously was employed by Dillon Floral, Corp., Bloomsburg, for 15 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Norman L. “Yogie” Rainier and Dale Rainier; and a sister, Elizabeth Fetterman.

Dave is survived by three daughters: Tina Levan, Tammy Rainier and Terry, wife of Dale Ashton; as well as several grandchildren; six siblings: Donald E. Rainier, Texas; Robert G. Rainier, Bloomsburg; Mary, wife of Egan Fehnel, Emmaus; Ruth E. Long, Millville; George J. Rainier, and his wife Shirley, Irvin; Joseph D. Rainier, and his wife Connie, Kempton; and a number of nieces and nephews.  

In keeping with Dave’s wishes, there will be no funeral services or viewing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
