DAWN  E.  KRESSLER

Dawn E. Kressler, age 82, 520 Kressler Ave., Bloomsburg, died at 4:05 a. m. Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Bloomsburg Health Care Center, where she had resided since June, 2010.

Born in Numidia, Locust Township, on April 26, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mercy (Hower) Lindenmuth. Her early life was spent in the Numidia area, moving to Bloomsburg in 1949.

Dawn was a 1948 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.

She was employed by the former Bloomsburg Mills, Inc. from 1948 until she retired in 1992.

Dawn was a member of the Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ, Bloomsburg, where assisted in the festivals by serving as a cook and also took part in baking raisen cookies for the cookie sale.

A daughter, Valerie McGaw preceded her in death on May 4, 2010.

Surviving are her husband, Ray S. Kressler, Jr., with whom she celebrated 63 years of marriage on March 19, 2012 and a grandson, Michael McGaw, Bloomsburg.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with her pastor, Rev. Stephen D. Engelhardt officiating. Interment in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10-11 a. m. The family will provide flowers. Memorials may be sent to her church, Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ,  260 E. Seventh St., Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
