Deanna F. (Miller) Carl

Deanna F. (Miller) Carl, age 81, formerly of N. Third St., Catawissa, died 11:45 pm Sunday May 22, 2022 at The Gardens At Millville, where she had resided since June 2019.

Born in Bloomsburg on October 30, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Karl and Evelyn (Williams) Miller. She was a graduate of the former Locust Twp. High School and resided in the Catawissa area most of her life.

Deanna was employed in the garment industry for most of her life as a seamstress and had worked for the former Emenee Shirt Factory in Catawissa for a number of years.

She was an excellent seamstress and sewed clothing for her children and friends. She also enjoyed gardening and flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Carl, on August 26, 2014.

Surviving are three sons: Douglas G. Carl, and his companion Leigh Geary, Dale E. Carl, and his wife Brenda, and Derek S. Carl, all of Catawissa; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two brothers: Terry Miller, and his wife Linda, of Boyertown, and Nevin Miller, and his wife Carol, of Catawissa; and a sister, Connie, wife of Ronald Levan, of Catawissa.

Funeral Services will be held at a later date which will be announced.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
