Deborah K. (Welliver) Young

Deborah K. (Welliver) Young, age 60, of 1217 Freas Ave., Berwick died Tuesday at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born in Bloomsburg on May 9, 1962, she was a daughter of the late Buddy N. and Charlet E. (Brown) Welliver. She was a lifelong resident of the Bloomsburg/Berwick area.

Deborah was last employed by Kentucky Fried Chicken at their Buckhorn location and earlier at the former Bloomsburg Mills, Inc.

She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed playing games on her cell phone. The time she spent with her grandchildren was especially important to her.  She was a member of the Continental Fire Co., Danville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a step brother, Mark L. Allen on October 8, 2013.

Deborah is survived by two sons, Robert S, Fausnaught, Jr., and Michael A. Fausnaught, who resided with her, a daughter Ashley, wife of Adam Vaught, Bloomsburg; nine grandchildren; five siblings: David E. Welliver, Berwick, Sherry J., wife of Jeffrey A. Eisenhauer, Danville, Barbara J., wife of Raymond C. Smith, Moncks Corner, South Carolina, Ricky L. Welliver, and his wife Rhonda, Millville, Roxanne L., wife of Buddie M. Rainier, Sr., Millville and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with Pastor Charles Chamberlain of the Bloomsburg Southern Baptist Church officiating. Interment in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Berwick. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 1 -2 p. m.
