Dolores J. "Dollie" (Dohl) Singley

Dolores J. “Dollie” (Dohl) Singley, age 87, of 15 Klingerville Lane, Bloomsburg, passed away on Friday September 30, 2022 at the Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital, where she was a patient for two weeks.

Born on June 30, 1935 in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Norma (Bowden) Dohl. A 1953 graduate of Meyers High School in Wilkes-Barre, she resided in Hemlock Township since 1962.

Dollie was last employed by Geisinger Medical Center in Danville as a clerk for 18 years, retiring in 1995.

She was a member of the Buckhorn United Methodist Church.

Dollie enjoyed visiting friends and family.

In addition to her parents, Dollie was preceded in death by two husbands, Richard D. Plastow, on October 9, 1960, and Robert E. Singley, on January 5, 2015.

She is survived by four sons: Richard A. Plastow, and his wife Alberta, of Louisville, OH, Alan D. Plastow, and his wife Connie, of Bloomsburg, Todd R. Singley, and his wife Tammy, of Bloomsburg, and Timothy E. Singley, and his wife Stephanie, of Beverly Beach, FL; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 4, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with her pastor, Pastor Margie M. McCarty, officiating. Interment will follow in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. Viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
