Donna Jean Bird

Donna Jean (Roberts) Bird, age 64, 173 Rohrsburg Road, Orangeville, died at 9:55 p. m. Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the Geisinger Medical ,Center, Danville, where she was a patient for three weeks.

Born on March 8, 1953 in Conyngham, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Betty (McDonough) Roberts. Donna Jean  was a 1971 graduate of Hazleton High School and  resided in Orange Township for 28 years.

Donna Jean was employed by  Fabra-Cal, Inc., Mountaintop for 41 years, where she was a forklift operator.

She loved horses, gardening, and especially her dogs. She also was an avid reader and a great cook.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Connie Roberts

Surviving is her husband Chico Bird, with whom she celebrated her 28th wedding anniversary on May 8, 2017; a daughter Regina, wife of Rick Anderson, Charleston, West VA; a grandson, William Max Harper, Charleston, West VA; two sisters: Joanne Roberts, Drums; Beverly Roberts, Beech Mountain; and a brother, John Roberts, and his wife Deborah, Hazleton.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Benton.
