Donna M. Schoch
Donna M. Shoch, age 66, 330 W. Third St., Bloomsburg, died at 5:45 P. M. Friday, January 18, 2013 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, after a brief illness.
Born in Upper Darby on December 17, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Charles Schoch and Fay (Fielding) Hower. She spent most of her life in Bloomsburg and was a 1967 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.
Donna loved to play bingo, watching horse racing and football, as well as going on bus trips with the other residents of the Bloomsburg Towers. She also enjoyed attending the Bloomsburg Fair, spending time with her great nephew Owen and her pet cat.
She was preceded in death by two great nieces: Kelsey in 1999 and Tiffany in 1987.
Surviving are a brother: Jon Hower, and his wife Carolyn, Elysburg; two sisters: Denise, wife of Rick Steward, Orangeville and Debbie, wife of Cosmo Leone, Burlington, Iowa; seven nieces; one nephew; one great-niece and one great-nephew.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 7:30 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with the Rev. Allen F. Acor, pastor of the Mooresburg-Hendrickson United Methodist Churches officiating. Friends and family may call from 6 p. m. until the time of the service.
