Donna R. Straining, age 58, of Dushore, died at her home early Sunday, December 20, 2015.
Born in West Hanover Township, Dauphin County, on May 14, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Richard, Sr. and Edna R. (Kelly) Fisher. She resided in Dushore since 2000, and formerly lived in Lewisberry.
Donna was a 1975 graduate of Central Dauphin High School, and attended Elizabethtown College.
She worked as a dispatcher for IBM, Inc. in Mechanicsburg.
Surviving is her husband, Eugene W. "Gene" Straining, with whom she celebrated 36 years of marriage on September 15, 2015; a son, Adam Michael Straining, at home; a sister, Dorinda, wife of George Chambers, Land of Lakes, Fla.; and three brothers: twins Charles Richard Fisher, II and Ralph Fisher, both Land of Lakes, Fla.; and Amos Fisher, Carlisle.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
