Douglas R. Allen, Jr.
Douglas Raymond Allen, Sr., age 48, 1422 Orange St., Berwick, died unexpectedly Sunday evening while visiting at a friend's home in Berwick.
Born in Williamsport on Jan. 30, 1965, he was a son of the late John and Rhea (Gordner) Allen.
He was a former motor route carrier for the Press Enterprise and enjoyed hunting, fishing and family picnics. His children were his whole world.
Surviving are his wife of six years, the former Faith Musselman; seven children: Douglas R. Allen, Jr.; Charles J. Allen; David Allen; Thomas Allen, all at home; Crystal Allen, Berwick; Tommy Allen, Shamokin; Raymond Allen, Danville; several grandchildren; two brothers: Martin Allen, Berwick; Arnold Earnest, Benton; seven sisters: Eleanor Kile, Bloomsburg; Doris Travelpiece and Freda Davis, Rohrsburg; Patsy Whitmoyer, Wooster, Ohio; Shirley Hubbard, Millville; Linda Hubbard and Sandra Robbins, Berwick.
Private services will be held.
