Edna V. (Lynn) Jones, age 92, 915 Tower Drive, Danville, died at 8:40 p. m. Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at her home after a brief illness.

Born in Berwick on June 16, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Gerdon A. and Irene M. (Paden) Lynn. She resided in the Danville area for much of her lifetime.

Edna was employed by Danville State Hospital for a number of years, earlier in her life.

She was a member of the Community Alliance Church, Mausdale.

Edna enjoyed reading, bird watching, keeping house and sweet companionship with her loving husband, Raymond. In years gone by, she enjoyed raising flowers and making beautiful floral arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Charles M. Yeager on August 1, 1987; by her second husband of 16 months, Phillip Eifert; a daughter, Virginia L. Reeder on Jan. 24, 2012; a son, Larry L. Yeager in 2009; a grandson, Charles M. Yeager; a great-grandson, Eric C. Reeder; a sister, Lena Cero; and three brothers: Norman Lynn, Charles Lynn and George Lynn.

Edna is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Raymond H. Jones; a son, Wayne A. Yeager, and his wife Carol, Bloomsburg; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; eight step-children; and a sister, Verna K. Ash, Watsontown.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Friday at 11 a. m. in Elan Memorial Park, 5595 Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg, with her pastor, Nathan King officiating.  At her request, there will be no viewing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1715 Bloom Road, Danville.
