Edwin R. Campbell, age 83, 548 W. First St., Bloomsburg, died at his home early Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011.
Born in Bloomsburg on Dec. 2, 1927, he was a son of the late Irvin and Carrie M. (Young) Campbell. He resided in Bloomsburg his entire life and was a 1946 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.
Ed was employed by the former Magee Carpet Co. for over 20 years and then worked for the former Shoemaker Auto Parts for several years before retiring. He last was employed part-time by the Bloomsburg Elks Club, retiring again about 10 years ago.
He was a member of Columbia Valley Lodge 623, Loyal Order of Moose for many years.
Surviving are his daughter, Darlene E., wife of John M. Boyer, Bloomsburg; a grandson, Sean Kelly, Bloomsburg; a granddaughter, Kindra Kelly, Washingtonville; a great-granddauaghter, Amya Lynn Harvey, Washingtonville; and two sisters: Clara Singley, Bloomsburg and Millie Shafer, Bear, Del.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 3 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with the Rev. Allen F. Acor, pastor of the Mooresburg-Hendrickson United Methodist Churches officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-3 p. m.
