Elaine P. (Tanner) Pringle, age 70, of 234 Pepper Hills Dr., Danville passed away at her home on Monday morning February 20, 2023 after an illness.
Born in Danville on December 2, 1952, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Mary C. (Crossley) Tanner. A 1970 graduate of Danville High School, she spent her life in the Strawberry Ridge and Danville areas.
Elaine was employed as a teller at the former FNB bank in Bloomsburg for a number of years. Earlier she was employed as a bartender at BJ’s restaurant in Danville.
She was a member of the Strawberry Ridge United Church of Christ. She enjoyed making ceramics and arranging flowers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Daniel Tanner and Harold Tanner.
Elaine is survived by her son, Jared W. Pringle, and his wife Julie, of Benton; grandson, Martin J. Pringle, and his fiancé Kayla Schmoke, of Benton; a great-granddaughter: Charlotte Schmoke-Pringle; a sister, Wendy Nicodemus, of Danville; and a brother, Ronald Tanner, and his wife Linda, of Fairplay, SC; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in Columbia Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
