ELIZABETH  D. "Betty"  MAUSTELLER

Elizabeth D. "Betty" Mausteller, age 93, formerly of Honeymoon St., Danville, died at 3:07 p. m. Saturday, August 27, 2011 in the emergency room of the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She resided at Maria Joseph Manor, Danville for the past four years.

Born in Danville on August 16, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Montgomery "Mont" and Elizabeth (McWilliams) Derr. She resided in Danviile her entire life, except for seven years spent in Norristown.

Betty was a 1936 graduate of Danville High School and a 1939 graduate of the former Danville State Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed as a Registered Nurse at Danville State Hospital for 31 years, retiring in 1975.

She was a member of the Shiloh United Church of Christ, Danville.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Mausteller on May 20, 1990 and by three sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by two daughters: Linda, wife of Abe Price, Baltimore, MD; Grace Elwood, Lehigh Acres, Fla; and a grandson, Robert Price, Baltimore, MD. She was the last of her immediate family.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a. m. in Shiloh United Church of Christ, 500 Bloom Street, Danville, with her pastor, Rev. Mary B. Schmotzer officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church from 10-11 a. m.
