Ellen A. Wert, age 67, Danville, died at 9:40 p. m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Grandview Health Homes, Danville, where she resided for 14 years.
Born in Mahoning Township on December 19, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Alice (Kear) Levan. She spent her entire life in the Danville area.
Ellen was employed as a medical records clerk at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, for 37 years, last working in 1987.
She was a member of the Shiloh United Church of Christ, Danville.
Ellen was preceded in death by two sisters: Dawn (Leighow) Watts and Beverly (Levan) Beck.
Surviving are a daughter, Joanne M., wife of Randy Strouse and a son, William J. Wert, and his fiance', Amy, all of Danville; three grandchildren: Amanda Hahn; Kaitlin Strouse; William Temple; one great-grandson, Lucas Hahn; and two brothers: Robert Levan, and his wife Bonnie and Ronald Levan, all of Riverside.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1715 Bloom Road, Danville.
