Ethelyn S. Megargell

Ethelyn S. (Reynolds) Megargell, age 97, 154 Megargell Road, Orangeville, died at 6:30 p. m. on Monday, May 13, 2019, at The Gardens At Orangeville where she resided since May 25, 2018.

Born in Waynesboro, Franklin County, on March 1, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Pearle (Swigert) Reynolds. She resided in Orange Township since 1947.

Ethelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Vergil S. Megargell on January 30, 2000, after a marriage of 56 years; by three brothers: Franklin Reynolds, Donald Reynolds, Walter Reynolds; and by four sisters: Phyllis Alli, Doris Edelman, Thelma Wolfe, and Marybell Nicholson.

Ethelyn is survived by her son, Donald W. Megargell, and his wife Joyce, Orangeville; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren;  a sister, Marie Rozinskie, Berwick and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:30 a. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with  Matthew Verstraeten, pastor of the Benton United Methodist Church officiating. Interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Orangeville. Viewing on Saturday from 11:00 to 11:30 a. m.
