Fay, 80 of Danville went to her eternal home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 29, 2016. Fay passed away after fighting the Alzheimer Monster for 10 years. She died at the Emmanuel Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in
Danville.
Fay was born at Harvey's Lake on December 22, 1936 to the late Charles and Clara Crispell White. She graduated from Lake Noxen High School in 1955. She played drums I in the school band and loved music and dancing.
She married Richard Ransom Hess on January 5, 1957. Fay worked as a secretary in Camden, NJ at RCA and in Watsontown,
at the Watsontown Christian and Missionary Alliance church and school where she was an active church member for 37
years.
Fay enjoyed living in the country and was an excellent artist, painting beautiful nature scenes. She loved spending time with her family and was always wearing a smile, She was an excellent listener, an animal lover, a warm and caring person. A devoted wife, mother and friend, always thinking of others first. To know her was to love her.
In addition to her parents, Fay was preceded in death by four brothers'; Junie, Darl, Donald and Teddy. her sister,
Viola Scott and a grandson, Joshua Bruder.
Fay is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard R. Hess, A daughter, Cindy (Mike) Vognetz of Lykens, a son Richard (Kimberly) Hess of Lewisburg; six grandchildren, Nichole McCuen, Zachary Pfautz, Devon Bruder, Tamara Vela and Quinn and Lukas Vognetz. Brothers, Dorne of Harvey's Lake and David of Georgia.
