FLORENCE R. "Flip" YANNOTTI
Florence R. "Flip" Yannotti, age 92, Townville, South Carolina and formerly of Benton and Stillwater died at her home at 11:15 p. m. Monday, November 21, 2011.
She was born in Blodgett Hills, New York on Feb. 28, 1919 a daughter of the late Thomas and Rose (Pompa) Marzola. She resided in Syosset, Long Island, NY from 1940 to 1980 when she moved Stillwater and following the death of her husband, she moved to Benton and to Townville in January, 2011.
She was employed as a waitress at Christiano's Restaurant in Syosset for many years.
Flip was a faithful member of Christ The King Catholic Church, Benton, and participated in local activities in the Benton area.
Her husband, Chester J. "Chet" Yannotti, preceded her in death on August 2, 1992.
Surviving are a son, Louis J. Yannotti, Choteau, Montana; two daughters: Rosemary, wife of William Amantia, Boca Raton, Fla. and Deborah Masters, with whom she resided in Townville; three grandchildren: Siobhan Sheene, Donna Corsini, William Amantia; five great grandchildren; and a sister, Gloria Flick, Babylon, N.Y.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Christ The King Catholic Church, Benton, in the near future, and will be announced. There will be no viewing. Interment will be in in the Stillwater Cemetery.
