Frances M. (Diehl) Campbell

Frances M. (Diehl) Campbell, age 95, of 410 Kaseville Rd., Danville, passed away on Monday August 15, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born on December 31, 1926 in Valley Twp., Montour Co., she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Marion K. (Shultz) Diehl. A 1944 graduate of Danville High School, she was a lifelong resident of the Danville (Mausdale) area.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Campbell, on August 8, 1986; three sisters: Harriet Potter, Marjorie Egli, and Betty Zeisloft; and three brothers: Harold Diehl, Carl Diehl, and Roland Diehl.

She is survived by her daughter, Marion K., wife of Thomas Smith, at home; four grandchildren: Ashley Reidinger, Kurt Smith, Lacey Bruner, and Kelsey Volp; and by seven great grandchildren: Melanie, Mason, Connor, Darcey, Bryce, Bailey, and Jett.

Graveside services will be held on Friday August 19, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy, with Rev. Gordon E. Smith, of St. John Lutheran Church, Espy, officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, you may donate to a charity of your choice in remembrance of Frances.
