Frances A. (Romeo) Doran

Frances A. (Romeo) Doran, age 84, of 634 Washington St., Berwick, passed away on Monday morning September 5, 2022 at Riverstreet Manor in Plains Township, Luzerne County.

Born on July 8, 1938 in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Anthony V. and Cecelia (DelRegno) Romeo. Frances was a 1956 graduate of Foster Township High School.

She was a service representative for the Social Security Administration in Wilkes-Barre.

Frances was a member of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Berwick.

She was preceded in death by four brothers: Anthony Romeo, Anunzi Romeo, Ralph Romeo, and Victor Romeo.

Frances is survived by her husband, James A. Doran, with whom she would have celebrated their 56^th wedding anniversary on November 22, 2022, a son, Kevin P. Doran, and his wife Kimberly, of Wilkes-Barre, and a granddaughter, Brittany M. Schell, of Berwick.

Funeral services will be held on Friday September 9, 2022 at 2 p.m. in the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with her former pastor, Rev. Francis Tamburro, officiating. Viewing from 1-2 p.m. Interment will take place in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy, at the convenience of the family.
